I was recently invited for a bloggers meet at the Cloud 9! Located in Rajarhat inside the Aminia Building, this lounge is one of the few places in Rajarhat serving Sheesha and good food at reasonable prices!
The ambiance is fuss free and they have a pool table for a quick game while you puff. Usually lounge and hookah parlour’s do not boast of good food but The Cloud 9 here had me surprised with their big diverse menu and good taste! From mocktails to coolers, shakes to tea their drinks menu is sorted. For food you can choose from Chinese, snacks, North India Italian, and continental.
We tried a lot of dishes (trust me a lot!!) and the standouts were definitely the Mocktails, the American Mafia Burger, the Chinese starters – Mushroom & Sweet Sour Paneer. A special mention to the kebabs which were delicious! Do try the Corn Malai Kebab (it was seriously a melt-in-mouth moment), Hariyali Seekh Kebab, Aaatishi Aloo
I was surprised to find amazing North Indian food at a lounge! The Jhal Farezi was smoky and well cooked. The paneer was sweet, creamy and went well with the nan! Corn palak deserves a special mention, because it left me asking for more!
For dessert we tried their homemade daab malai and nolen gur icecream and trust me you have to order this!
The pan sheesha was smooth and made for a good companion throughout the meet!
Overall, I had a great afternoon!
